Speak Up! Talk about the Dangers of Fentanyl

Sunday, August 21, is the first ever National Fentanyl Prevention and Awareness Day. This day of remembrance honors those who have lost their lives to illegally made fentanyl overdose and acknowledges the devastation this drug causes thousands of family members and friends.

In recognition of the day, pause to learn about the growing overdose crisis, and take action to promote awareness and help protect your loved ones from opioid overdose. Check out the CDC Division of Overdose Prevention (DOP) sharable resources to help educate and protect the public from fentanyl-driven overdoses with our recent fentanyl campaign.
